Panagiotis is an architect, a digital designer, and animation creator and director, based in Athens, Greece. He has graduated with a MSc in Digital Imaging & Design from New York University, NY, USA and a Diploma in Architecture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
He has worked on animation and motion graphics for music videos (Ten small crabs, production by O Tempelis Drakos), museological exhibitions (Tales of Invisible Water at the metro station “Dimotiko theatro”, Piraeus, Ministry of Culture & Sports, Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, and Attiko Metro S.A.), EU and Greek National funded research projects (COSMOS. Cultural Osmosis – Mythology & Art, Marine-EO etc, NCSR “Demokritos”) and commercial projects (Furry Frenzies, Hasbro, Click 3x) etc. His animation shorts, Beachless (2010, thesis project at NYU) and The wedding ring (2008), have been screened in international film festivals.
As a digital designer he has worked for EU and Greek National funded research projects (COSMOS, CIVILnEXt etc, NCSRD) and proposals (CybeRESIST, MARISEC etc, NCSRD). He also had the role of project manager for research projects (COSMOS and iGuide Knossos, NCSRD). In addition, Panagiotis has worked as a self-employed architect (Thessaloniki x4, Mountain house etc) and for high-end residential, commercial, office space, and big-scale projects for architectural firms in Athens, Greece, and New York, USA.
He is a member of ASIFA Hellas, the Hellenic Animation Association and the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE).
