The design emphasizes the human aspect of the project. It adopts an organic and playful approach with vibrant colors, free-form shapes, and a hand-drawn typeface (aka-acid-sunn). The color palette comprises gold/yellow -the official color for the childhood cancer awareness ribbon- and its high contrast and complementary colors. Rather than creating another hug-inspired symbol, the design opts for a wordmark, a distinct text-only typographic treatment, following the three basic logo principles (appropriate, distinctive, simple). Feelings aspired to raise: Hope, Joy, Playfulness.
