During the metro construction in Piraeus, the archaeological excavations revealed the ancient city and identified many of its houses and streets. Among the discoveries were the underground structures that supplied the ancient city of Piraues with water. The exhibition “Tales of Invisible Water” at the “Dimotiko Theatro” (Municipal theater) metro station focuses on these structures. It is organized into four thematic sections that trace the invisible paths of the water. The explanatory animated videos in the first three sections are displayed on vertical 82″ screens at the pathways to the central area of the station, where the video of the fourth section is displayed.
